Patel on two-day Bilaspur, Korba tour from July 22



Raipur, July 20, 2011

The PCC president Nandkumar Patel will be on two-day Bilaspur and Korba tour from July 22. He will be accompanied by leader of the Opposition at state Assembly Ravindra Choubey. The duo will also attend a programme organised by Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Dr Charandas Mahant at Korba in memory of his father late Bisahudas Mahant on July 23. On the occasion, the AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh will unveil the statue of Bisahudas Mahant. The objective of the tour is to interact with the workers and to take stock of the party’s activities in both urban and rural areas of Bilaspur and Korba.
The PCC media incharge Mahendra Chhabra informed that both Patel and Choubey along with former PCC president Dhanendra Sahu, Satyanarayan Sharma and Bhupesh Baghel will commence their tour from Chandrakhuri block on July 22. At 10:30 am, they will reach Chandrakhuri where they will stay for about 30 minutes to interact with the partymen.
At 11.15 am, they will reach Bilha turning where the block workers will greet them. They will reach Bilaspur at 12 pm, hold talks with the workers in Chhattisgarh Bhawan, take lunch and reach Ratanpur at 1:30 pm.
Thereafter, they will stay briefly in Pali at 2:30 pm and Katghora at 3:15 pm before reaching Korba at 4:15 pm. They will return Raipur via helicopter at evening on July 23.
