Govt to open 56 new paddy procurement centres

In Raipur, Mahasamund & Dhamtari districts


The state government will open 56 new paddy procurement centres in Raipur, Mahasamund and Dhamtari districts. The government gave approval to new paddy procurement centres on demand of villagers of these three districts during gram Suraj campaign 2011, informed the officials of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department  on Friday.  
The development blocks in Raipur district where paddy procurement centres would be opened are – Arang - Jaraud, Umaria, Nagpura, Khorsi and Seja, Abhanpur - Jamgaon, Suderkera, Tila and Torla, Phingeshwar – Koma, Jejra, Rohina and Parsada Kala, Bindranawagarh – Podh, Kasdol – Sel, Bilaigarh – Dhangaon – Palari – Bohardih, Charoda and Kosmanda, Balodabazar – Dharama, Balodabazar and Bitkuli, Tilda – Madh and Budera, Chhura – Paktiya and Bhatapara – Kotmi.
The development blocks in Dhamtari district where paddy procurement centres would be opened are –Dhamtari – Kurmatarai and Tarsiva, Kurud – Kuhkuha, Bagoud, Katalbod and Thuha, Magarlod – Kareli, Choti, Chandana and Nawagaon and Nagri – Belarbahra.
The development blocks in Mahasamund district where paddy procurement centres would be opened are –Mahasamund – Bemcha, Kampa, Sarekel and Choukbeda, Bagbahra – Jhara, Samhar and Tusda, Pithora – Rajadih, Pendravan and Jerabharan, Basna – Kharora and Pausra, Saraipali – Bada, Kankeva, Putka, Maldamal, Belmudi, Kejuva, Jagalbeda and Sirboda.
