The state government has approved Rs 34.36 lakh National Rural Drinking Water Programme (NRDWP) for drinking water supply system in village Kardega under Dhuldhula development block of Jashpur district. The Public Health Engineering (PHE) gave administrative approval for the work on Tuesday. The officials of the PHE informed that the Kardega village panchayat would be responsible for operation and maintenance of the drinking water supply system after completion of the work.
