State records 410.7 mm average rainfall



The state has recorded 30 mm average rainfall from July 21 to Friday (July 22) morning. With incessant rains in the past two days, the state has recorded 410.7 mm average rainfall during the current monsoon season from June 1 to July 19. According to information provided by the officials of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Rajnandgaon district has recorded maximum rainfall in this season, i.e. 485.9 mm,  . The rainfall recorded in the other districts is – Bilaspur – 405.3 mm, Kabeerdham – 244.5 mm, Durg – 448.9 mm, Dhamtari – 411.5 mm, Kanker  (North Bastar)– 359.5 mm, Jagdalpur  (Bastar) – 354.2 mm, Bijapur –413.8 mm, Raigarh – 402.9 mm, Mahasamund – 336.2 mm, Raipur – 398.9 mm, Sarguja – 478.6 mm, Jashpur – 482.8 mm, Janjgir-Champa – 354.6 mm, Korba – 486.2 mm, Narayanpur – 324.8 mm and Dantewada (South Bastar) – 349.2 mm.
