Naxal attack: PMC demands President’s rule in state

Condemning the Maoist attack on the cavalcade of PCC president Nandkumar Patel in Mainpur on July 20, the Pradesh Mahila Congress (PMC) working president Kalpana Patel has demanded from the Centre to implement President’s rule in the state.
“The BJP government has become insensitive. The naxals are continuously victimising innocent people. The government has no effective strategy to eradicate naxalism and consequently anarchy prevails in the state. Therefore, the Centre must implement President’s rule in Chhattisgarh,” Patel said.
The PMC also paid tribute to the party workers who were killed during naxal attack. On the occasion, Chhaya Verma, Bhojkumari Yadu, Rajbala Shrivastava, Chandrawati Sahu, Sunita Sharma, Sakshi Sirmour, Suman Pathak, Madhuri Tiwari, Bharti Sharma and others PMC members were present in large number.
