Kanker case: Cong’s state bandh today

Congress has called state bandh on Wednesday in protest of Kanker rape incident. The PCC president Nandkumar Patel has appealed to all the business establishments, social organisations, educational institutions, petrol pumps, cinema halls, labour associations, vegetable markets, auto, mini bus and rikshaw associations to support its peaceful bandh call.

He has also assigned responsibilities to the partymen pertaining to bandh in capital city. For this, the part has identified 30 main commercial roads where the Congress leaders will keep constant vigil.

The party will also take out candle march in 14 different locations of the city – Tatibandh chowk, Vivekanand Ashram, Azad chowk, City Kotwali, Siddharth chowk, Fafadih chowk, Guru Govind Singh chowk, Kalibadi chowk, Station chowk, Bhagat Singh chowk, Jaistambh chowk, Khamtarai chowk, Evergreen chowk, Lakhe Nagar chowk and Katora Talab chowk.
