The NSUI members on Monday morning formed human chain at Jaistambh chowk as mark of protest against Kanker rape incident.
The NSUI’s Raipur district president Pradeep Sahu informed that the NSUI members from different colleges including Mahant College, Durga College, Chhattisgarh College, Pragati College, Gurukul Girls’ College, Vivekanand College, etc reached Jaistambh chowk to form human chain.
The NSUI demanded stern action against the rapists to prevent reiteration of Kanker incident.
On the occasion, were present Saket Vaidya, Dheeraj Bawankar, Zahid Khan, Kalam, Ikram, Junaid, Shiva, Hashif, Ravi Sen, Tarun Soni, Prem Dubey, Ajay Pal, Rajesh Nishad, Mukesh Verma, Ankit Shukla, Tarachand Mishra, Ashish Ghosh, etc.
