RSU indifferent in making varsity anthem: NSC


Raipur, January 08, 2013

The Nationalist Student Congress (NSC) on Tuesday said that Pt Ravishankar Shukla University (RSU) was indifferent towards making varsity anthem.

“We have been demanding for varsity anthem for the past couple of years but the RSU administration has not taken any step yet,” said state working president of NSC Rahulraj Pandey.

In this connection, a delegation of NSC members led by Pandey also submitted memorandum on the name of vice chancellor to head of RSU’s student welfare department DS Pandey.

The NSC members said as varsity anthem gives unique identity to a university and create sense of pride among the students, the RSU too should have it own anthem.

On the occasion, Pandey was accompanied by Navraj Singh Solanki, Palash Agrawal, Prashant Chandrawashi, Sonu Pathan, Satveer Singh, Honey Singh, Atul Tiwari, Amit Tiwari, etc.
