YC members on Wednesday burnt an effigy of chief minister Raman Singh at dharna spot in protest of police lathicharge on NSUI activists on January 15.
“The NSUI activists, in the form of a rally, were peacefully proceeding towards Rajbhavan to submit memorandum to Governor on Kanker rape incident, but the police canecharged on them barbarically injuring many,’ said YC leader Dilip Singh Chouhan.
On the occasion were present Sheikh Shakeel, Azhar Rahman, Bablu Raza, Ruchir Dubey, Bhavesh, Himanshu, Amjad, Virendra Dewangan, Ishak Khan, Neeraj Sharma, etc.
