Congress on Monday said narco test report of Indira Priyadarshini Bank manager Umesh Sinha was authentic as the CD obtained by it matches with that possessed by police.
“Shankar Sonkar – a member of Indira Bank Sangharsh Samiti, obtained the CD of the test from police under RTI. This CD is same as the one which we had made public sometime back,” claimed PCC programme coordinator Bhupesh Baghel and spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi while talking to scribes at Congress Bhawan.
“Since the CD, obtained from the police, too proves that chief minister Raman Singh and state ministers Brijmohan Agrawal, Ramvichar Netam, Amar Agrawal and Rajesh Munat had taken kickbacks from Sinha to cover the embezzlement case, the Congress demand to make all the ministers co-accused in the matter,” they said.
They further said that the CM and all the ministers should also tender their resignation forthwith. “The Raipur IG GP Singh too should explain as on what grounds he defended the ministers when the Congress made the CD public,” they added.
“Besides, the police must clarify its stand as why it did not submit the CD with court as evidence,” they said.
“Now, when the CD with police and ours matched, we once again demand CBI inquiry into the matter,” they said.
