The state Congress Seva Dal will organise day-long conference at Guru Teg Bahadur hall from 11 am to 3 pm on Tuesday.
The conference will be participated by Seva Dal’s national head Mahendra Joshi, PCC president Charandas Mahant, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey, organisation’s Chhattisgarh incharge Shrilal Prasad Mishra, Congress MLA Mohammad Akbar and PCC programme coordinator Bhupesh Baghel.
The chief organiser of state Seva Dal Ashok Raj Ahuja informed that the conference would be attended by about 2000 organisational members including office-bearers at state, district and block and panchayat levels apart from Vidhan Sabha and Lok Sabha incharges.
He further informed that the objective of the conference is to discuss how Seva Dal would help Congress in winning assembly polls to be held in the yearend.
It is learnt that the dal too wants its members to contest polls and is likely to demand at least eight tickets (one from each division).
