Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi will attend party’s tribal conference in Bastar on September 26. In the conference, the party will raise May 25-Darbha incident, Jhaliyamari rape incident, police lathicharge on tribals and exploitation of tribals. The PCC programme coordinator Bhupesh Baghel informed that the Bastar conference was fourth in the row of programmes fixed by Gandhi recently. He said first the party organised scheduled caste conference at Ahiwara followed by teachers’ felicitation programme at Patan and farmers’ conference at Abhanpur.
