Congress on Thursday said that the owner of Solar Industries Limited (formerly Solar Explosives Limited) Satyanarayan Nuwal, who is joint venture partner of Sanchetis’ SMS Infrastructure Limited for commercial mining of Bhatgaon-II and Bhatgaon-II extension coal blocks, too is close to BJP president Nitin Gadkari.
Sanchetis are only mask in this coal scam while there are many more hidden faces who have close link with Gadkari,” said chief Congress spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi.
“The BJP government has squandered mineral resources of the state to Gadkari and his acquaintances. Now, if it denies to have done so then it must reveal all the recommendations it has done to Centre for coal blocks allocation,” he said.
“Also, if the government claims to have no links with Sanchetis and Nuwal then it should ask the CBI to probe into the joint venture company of SMS Infrastructure Limited and Solar Industries Limited that got job of commercial mining of the two blocks from Chhattisgarh Mineral Development Corporation (CMDC),” he said.
