Tribal Development Minister Kedar Kashyap has revoked the order to impose caution money Rs 1000 on students in SC and ST hostels across the state. The minister cancelled the order when the members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and informed him that the caution money would be an extra financial burden on students.
The ABVP members further demanded that the students should get scholarships regularly. They said the basic facilities in SC and ST hostels like sanitation, drinking water, etc should also be ensured.
On the occasion were present ABVP’s organisational secretary Sudhanshu Bhushan, state secretary Raju Mahant, Rakesh Mishra, Ritesh Mohre, Govind Gupta, Ayushman Tiwari, Nutan Dhritlahre, Devendra Netam, Hemant Sonwani, Jageshwar Netam, etc.
