School Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal says that teachers should develop moral values in students. “Guru’s guidance is must for disciples to become successful. Hence, In India we celebrate gurupurnima and teachers’ day,” said Agrawal during felicitation ceremony of teachers organised under the joint aegis of Federation of Educational Society (FES) and Ashashkiya Pracharya Manch (APM) Raipur at Shri Gujarati Higher Secondary School Devendra Nagar on the occasion of teachers’ day on Wednesday.
Higher Education Minister Ramvichar Netam felt that that the need of the hour is to raise education level and provide quality education to the students. On the occasion, the FES president BD Dwivedi, vie president Ajay Tiwari, secretary Rajesh Saxena and other office-bearers of the federation were also present.
The FES felicitated 110 working and retired teachers of private schools. The retired teachers are – S Khan – Salem English School, NB Mishra – St Paul’s Hindi Medium Higher Secondary School, Savita Bhattacharya – Shankar Nagar Vidyamandir Higher Secondary English Medium School, Rajni Bhale and Meera Katailiha - Laxminarayan Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Neeta Gulati – Urdu Girls’ Higher Secondary School, Ashok Dubey – Vivek Convent Higher Secondary School and Mala Mukherjee – Shri Gujarati Hindi Higher Secondary School.
NSUI felicitate teaching staff of colleges
The NSUI members felicitated teaching staff of different colleges on teachers’ day at Maharaja Agrasen International College (MAIC) on Wednesday. On the occasion, the NSUI members presented memento to MAIC principal Dr Samir Thakur for his contributions in the field of education.
The NSUI members who felicitated teachers included organisation’s Raipur district vice president Akash Sharma, Amit Sharma, Shubham Tamrakar, Komal Agrawal, Jayesh Tiwari, etc.
