RMC mayor Kiranmayi Nayak has snubbed DCC Raipur Urban president Inderchand Dhariwal’s notice of indiscipline and did not felt it mandatory to clarify her stand in the given time period.
Dhariwal had sought clarification from Nayak regarding an advertisement given by her in a newspaper for placing his photograph after corporators’ photos. He termed the wrong placement of his photograph as an insult and indiscipline and hence served show cause notice to Nayak.
Dhariwal had given three-day time to Nayak to reply. On Wednesday, the notice period ended but Nayak did not respond. Sources say Dhariwal had no right to shot notice to Nayak as she is PCC representative. Dhariwal should rather lodged complain against Nayak with party’s discipline committee, sources added.
According to information, Dhariwal has informed the discipline committee about Nayak’s ‘non-responsive’ attitude and the matter would be now discussed by the panel during its September 30 meeting.
Notably, Dhariwal and Nayak had never been on good terms and their ego clashes had always embarrassed the party.
