Senior Congress MLA Ajit Jogi has asked government to lift all charges imposed on YC and NSUI protestors during Chief Minister’s residence gherao programme of Congress on September 4. He said the BJP government’s violent face had exposed with police lathicharge on YC and NSUI protestors. “Instead, the government registered false cases against the demonstrators who were protesting peacefully. By using its police force the government is trying to snatch democratic rights of the principal opposition of the state,” he alleged demanding lifting of all charges against YC and NSUI activists unconditionally.
