Collector for management at work

Raipur Collector Siddharth Komal Pardesi on Wednesday directed officials to do time management at work and remain updated with assigned projects to them. Pardesi’s directives came while he was taking stock of works being carried out under different departments in the district.

He asked the officials to take right decision at right time and deter pendency of works. He instructed them to spend more time in field and coordinate between office and field works.

He further asked them to fix Mondays and Tuesdays for office work and to heed the public problems. If officials had to go on significant tours then they can delegate job of public interaction to any of their responsible subordinates, he suggested.

He said the complaints received during gram suraj abhiyan from the people should be addressed in ten days. He cautioned the officials to seriously respond on the applications received under Public Service Guarantee Act.

He said presence of all officials during time-bound meetings is must and they are also expected to maintain discipline at work. He said he would frequently review projects being carried out in the district and also conduct regular inspection of all the departments.
