Congress has made slight change in collectorate-gherao programmes. Now, the party will gherao collectorates in Koria, Korba, Jashpur and Balrampur on September 19, 20, 24 and 25 respectively. On September 26, the party will gherao Sarguja and Surajpur collectorates.
The party commenced its collectorate-gherao programmes on August 9, 2012 to protest hike in power tariff, inordinate power bills, black marketing of fertilisers and seeds and commercial mining of two coal blocks given to Sancheti brothers. The protest movement will conclude at Raipur on October 1, 2012.
The party is preparing to make its October 1 show as massive as was its CM house-gherao programme on September 4.
