Mantralaya likely to be shifted to Naya Raipur by Oct end

The Mantralaya is likely to be shifted from DKS Bhawan to Naya Raipur by October end. The shifting process will commence in the second fortnight of October 2012 and the Mantralaya will start functioning from Naya Raipur within next 15-20 days.
Revenue Secretary BL Agrawal convened a meeting of officials regarding shifting of Mantralaya on Monday. He asked the officials be prepared to complete the shifting in given time period.
In the meeting, the Naya Raipur Development Authority (NRDA) chairman informed that currently interior decoration, electric supply, water supply and security arrangements of new Mantralaya at village Rakhi are at final stage and would be completed in next 30 days. He suggested that that considering duration of pending works the shifting process could be started after Dussera in the second fortnight of October.
According to information, the NRDA is said to hire 30 buses that will ply from Raipur to Naya Raipur from November 1, 2012. In this connection, the NRDA has invited bids from private bus owners. These buses will not only carry the Mantralaya staff, but also ply as city buses for people.
