Cong to gherao CM house on September 4

With its allegations that Chief Minister Raman Singh was tainted in coalgate scam and had benefited Sancheti brothers, the Congress will gherao his residence and seek his resignation on September 4, 2012. The party took this decision during a meeting convened by state unit head Nandkumar Patel and CLP leader Ravindra Choubey at Congress Bhawan on Saturday.
Patel has appealed to the partymen across the state to muster at capital city on September 4 in CM-gherao programme. He has also asked senior party leaders and heads of all frontal organisations to bring massive crowd.
The party members will reach CM house in the form of rallies. Chief PCC spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi informed that rallies will be taken out from 15 different places.
According to information, the party plans to give two-pronged message to the public through its September 4 show – one, it has strengthen as an opposition and won public support and two, the ruling party has lost mandate.
