RSU employee union meeting held

The meeting of Pt Ravishankar Shukla University’s (RSU) employee union was organised at varsity campus on Thursday. The office-bearers of the union condemned the RSU administration’s refusal to provide Hindi version of university’s article 31. They also sloganeered against the varsity administration and submitted memorandum to registrar in favour of their demands.

The union secretary Pradeep Kumar Mishra informed that the registrar had assured to quickly provide Hindi version of university’s article 31. “The employees want to get acquainted with the rules under article 31 hence we are demanding its Hindi version,” he said.

Besides, the union demanded quick action into salary discrepancy of laboratory technicians, regularisation of nine daily wagers, salary fixation of class III and IV employees in compliance with the government order, increase in retirement age of laboratory technicians from existing 60 years to 62 years, etc.

The union warned the RSU administration of launching aggressive agitation if their demands would not be fulfilled quickly.

The union meeting was addressed by Jeevanlal, Dr Gopal Chandrakar, Chaitram Ratre, Basant Ausar, Teerath Yadav, Purushottam Kahar, Deepak Netam, etc.
