AICC general secretary and state Congress incharge BK Hariprasada will begin his three-day tour of Bastar division from Wednesday. He will participate in the party’s collectorate-gherao programme in four districts. He will be accompanied by state Congress president Nandkumar Patel, CLP leader Ravindra Choubey and senior party leaders during his tour.
The PCC spokesperson Mahendra Chhabda informed that Hariprasada will arrive in the state capital through regular flight from New Delhi at 9:25 am on Wednesday. He will straightaway leave for Jagdalpur where he will attend the party’s collectorate-gherao programme under the banner of DCC Jagdalpur and DCC Bastar jointly.
On the following two days i.e. September 13 and 14, he will accompany the partymen in gheraoing Bijapur collectorate (Thursday) and Narayanpur & Kondagaon collectorates (Friday).
Hariprasada will return to Raipur on September 14 evening and jointly talk to media with Union Commerce and Industry Minister Anand Sharma. The duo will justify Congress-led UPA government’s stance on coal blocks allocation and inform in detail about the state’s role.
