18 govt high schools to be upgraded soon




About 18 government high schools would soon be upgraded in higher secondary schools. The government has made provision of Rs 1.50 crore for the staffers of these schools in its first supplementary budget of the current financial year.
School Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal informed that about 216 posts of different grades had been created for the schools. In each school there will be one librarian, one assistant grade-3, two peons (regular staff), five lecturers or shikshakarmi grade-1, one teacher or shikshakarmi grade-2 (physical education teacher) and two assistant teachers or shikshakarmi grade-3.
The districts where high schools will be opened are – Bemetara –Mau, Pratappur, Odiya and Nawagaon, Balodabazar – Karmada, Mahasamund – Bamhani, Raipur – Ganoud, Kumhari (Pahanda), Mohra, Raigarh – Farasvani, Rajnandgaon – Saloni, Rampur, Dhara, Badhaitola, Durg – Semaria, Kesra, Mokha, and Mudhkhusra.
