CDUS first meeting held




The first meeting of Chhattisgarhiya Dugdh Utpadak Sangh (CDUS) held at Community Hall in Tatibandh recently. Over 200 members of the association participated in the meeting. The members discussed about the problems the dairy owners are facing presently and decided to make the sector more organised by seeking help from the local administration as well as government. On the occasion, Mayor Kiranmayi Nayak was present as the chief guest while her spouse Vinod Nayak, Shaheed Bhagat Singh ward corporator Sunil Chandrakar and Shobha Yadav were invited as special guests. During the meeting, the CDUS president Anand Sharma, vice president Manoj Pillai and secretary Rajkumar Yadav informed the Mayor about the problems of the dairy owners like scarcity of fodder, etc. “The Mayor has taken serious note on our demands and has assured us that she would take initiative in providing benefits of Central schemes to the dairy owners,” said Pillai after the meeting.
