Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Industries Charandas Mahant arrived in the state capital on Thursday evening via regular flight from New Delhi. He will leave for his Lok Sabha constituency Korba on Friday morning. On Saturday (September 10) he will visit Fisheries Farm and Krishi Vigyan Kendra Khokhasa in Janjgir at 10:30 am and then return to Korba via road. At 12:30 pm, he will lay foundation stone in a local programme at Dipka. At 7 pm, he will address media persons at Korba Press Club. On Sunday (September 11) morning, he will attend a programme at Raigarh and then return to Raipur on the same day. On Monday (September 12), he will attend NCDC programme in Gayatri Nagar in the morning and then participate in a seminar in Indira Gandhi Agriculture University (IGAU) at 12:30 pm.
