The farmers of Dharsiva development block on Wednesday met the Union Minister of State for Agriculture and Food Processing Charandas Mahant and informed him about their problems emerged in wake of heavy rains which ruined majority of their crops. A delegation of farmers from Dharsiva, Kura, Padarbhatta, Chikhli, Pathri and Silyari sought help from the minister so that their losses could be compensated to a large extent. Mahant asked Block Congress Committee to prepare an estimated report of the loss incurred by the farmers of the region and submit it to the PCC.
