Lashing out at Janata Dal (United) legislator from Bihar and former CSEB chairman Rajib Ranjan for his recent critical remark against state Congress, the senior party leader Ajit Jogi on Monday said Ranjan’s statement was completely false and merely intended to defame the stalwart Congress leaders.
“Ranjan’s tenure as CSEB chairman was full of scams and corruption. He should speak of his own work in Chhattisgarh instead of raising fingers at Congress which is a party of honest and dedicated workers,” Jogi said.
Demanding apology from Ranjan for his controversial remark, Jogi said he had no right to level allegation against anybody including Congress party without evidence.
Charging at Ranjan, Jogi said, “The ex-CSEB chairman’s intermittent Raipur visits indicate that he come with hidden agenda. It seems as he has undeclared assets worth crores and hence he arrive here to take stock of his property.
Jogi aid what else could be Ranjan’s purpose to visit Chhattisgarh when neither any organisation or individual invite him on any occasion nor he has any family connection.
