The state has recorded 1112.5 mm rainfall during the current monsoon season from June 1 to September 15. According to information provided by the officials of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Koria district has recorded maximum rainfall in this season, i.e.1514 mm. The rainfall recorded in the other districts is – Bilaspur – 1112.7 mm, Kabeerdham – 711.9 mm, Rajnandgaon –1147.9 mm, Durg – 1103.5 mm, Dhamtari –1106 mm, Kanker (North Bastar)– 1059.3 mm, Jagdalpur (Bastar) – 1058.8 mm, Bijapur – 969.6 mm, Raigarh – 1226 mm, Mahasamund – 1179 mm, Raipur –1028.6 mm, Sarguja – 1154.9 mm, Jashpur – 1134.1 mm, Janjgir-Champa – 1043 mm, Korba – 1373 mm, Narayanpur –964.1 mm and Dantewada (South Bastar) – 1138.6 mm.
