Concerned by delayed compassionate appointment procedures, the state government has asked all the departments to complete the formalities timely. In this connection, the Joint Secretary General Administration Department (GAD) has sent letters to all the department heads, Collectors and CEOs to ensure that the compassionate appointment be given to the dependent of the deceased government servant (who dies before retirement) in the timeframe set by the government.
