Chhattisgarh records 873.9 mm average rains




 The state has recorded 873.9 mm rainfall during the current monsoon season from June 1 to September 2. According to information provided by the officials of Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Koria district has recorded maximum rainfall in this season, i.e.1157.9 mm. The rainfall recorded in the other districts is – Bilaspur – 874.8 mm, Kabeerdham – 605.2 mm, Rajnandgaon – 953.1 mm, Durg – 920 mm, Dhamtari – 922.1 mm, Kanker  (North Bastar)– 863.5 mm, Jagdalpur  (Bastar) – 902.8 mm, Bijapur – 847.7 mm, Raigarh – 798.6 mm, Mahasamund – 662.2 mm, Raipur –818.2 mm, Sarguja – 909.9 mm, Jashpur – 917.4 mm, Janjgir-Champa – 753.3 mm, Korba – 1016.8 mm, Narayanpur –801.4 mm and Dantewada (South Bastar) – 1005.5 mm.
