The Sindhu Cultural Forum (SCF) on Wednesday expressed sadness over the tragic death of forum’s general secretary Ramdas Makhija saying the late leader served the SCF with distinction and worked tirelessly to promote its interests.“Makhija had always played key role in organising Chetrichandra mahotsava every year. The entire Sindhi community mourns his sudden demise,” said the SCF president Ramesh Varlyani. “Makhija worked hard for the development of SCF with dynamism and energy and served the Sindhi fraternity with distinction after being appointed as the general secretary of forum,” Varlyani said. The forum’s office-bearers who condoled the demise of Makhija are – vice presidents Lokchand Bajaj and Shankar Ramani, Secretaries Harish Vaswani and Jhamandas Athwani, treasurer Murlidhar Ajwani, former SCF president Kanhaiyya Lal Chhugani along with all the members.
