The members of the Youth Congress (YC) are disgruntled lot nowadays. They are surprised that the BJP government which supported Anna Hazare’s satyagrah against corruption is not allowing them to follow the same path of non-violence in their protest movements. For YC members, Gandhigiri (or Annagiri) has always been the most appropriate mode to raise any issue before public, but they alleged that none of their protest campaigns could conclude in an expected manner because of the government’s intervention and repressive action in the middle. The YC members have even started saying that the government seems to have copyrighted Gandhigiri because it is scared of being exposed if any other political party (especially Opposition) would use the effective tool like ‘anshan’ persistently.
