Congress has strongly condemned naxal attack on gram suraj abhiyan (GSA) team at Pegda Palli near Madded under Bijapur district on Friday. The PCC president Nandkumar Patel and CLP leader Ravindra Choubey termed the incident as unfortunate and paid tribute to the GSA team members who lost their lives during naxal attack. The duo also condoled the family members of the deceased GSA team members. Notably, Congress had demanded provision of group insurance for GSA teams considering the risk they are taking in touring distant regions including naxal-infested areas.
