Congress will continue its attack on government under it vada nibhao fortnight as it would organise three massive public rallies in different Assembly constituencies on Sunday. The rallies will be conducted at Karhi Bhadar (Balod Vidhan Sabha), Kusum Kasa (Daundi Vidhan Sabha) and Bhatgaon (Bhatgaon Vidhan Sabha).
The chief PCC spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi informed that Karhi Bhadar and Kusum Kasa public rallies would be conducted by state Congress chief Nandkumar Patel and CLP leader Ravindra Choubey. The rallies will be constituted by all the team members of Patel and Choubey. While the Bhatgaon rally will be led by deputy CLP leader Rampukar Singh and MLA TS Singhdeo.
The prominent party leaders who would attend Karhi Bhadar and Kusum Kasa rallies are – former state Congress president Dhanendra Sahu, Pandaria MLA Mohammad Akbar, PCC vice president Pradeep Choubey, chairman of Congress monitoring committee Arvind Netam, senior party leader Satyanarayan Sharma, Mankuram Sodhi, MLA Kawasi Lakhma and Pradesh Mahila Congress (PMC) president Ambika Markam.
The other party leaders who will attend the two rallies are Rajendra Tiwari, Dhanesh Patila, Yogiraj Singh, Imran Memon, state Youth Congress president Uttam Vasudev, Dr Shivnarayan Dwivedi, Jeevan Lal Sahu, Deenanath Sahu, Prem Chandrakar, Yogendra Sharma, Gurmeet Dhanei, Surendra Sharma, Ganga Potai, Jhitruram Baghel, Somprakash Giri, minority cell president Haji Sheikh Najimuddin, science and environment cell Shobha Yadav and Gajraj Pagaria.
Besides, Dr Haridas Bhardwaj, Pushpa Devi Singh, KK Gupta, Baijnath Chandrakar, president of Rajiv Gandhi panchayati raj cell Dr Shakrajeet Nayak, Ganesh Shankar Bajpayee, Devcharan Madhukar, Tarun Chaterjee, NSUI state president Devendra Yadav, president of civic bodies’ cell Santosh Agrawal, convenor of kisan khet majdoor Congress Digvijay Singh Kridutt, panchayati raj cell president Dinesh Sharma, legal cell president Faizal Rizvi and migration & bonded labourer grievance redressal cell Mohanmani Jatwar will also attend the two rallies.
Similarly, the prominent party leaders who will attend Bhatgaon rally are - parliamentarian Ingrid Mcleod, legislator Bodhram Kanwar, chief organiser of state Sewa Dal Ashok Raj Ahuja, state INTUC president Mahendra Kochchar, member of cooperative committee Rajesh Sharma, state Congress business cell president Kanhaiyya Agrawal, Harish Tiwari and Samir Pandey, members of Congress monitoring committee Chaneshram Rathiya and Gulab Singh.
Strategy meeting tomorrow
With an aim to make last public rally of the party’s vada nibhao fortnight at Raipur a huge success, PCC president Nandkumar Patel will convene a strategy meeting at Congress Bhawan at 12 pm on April 23. The meeting will be attended by the PCC office-bearers and senior party leaders including CLP leader Ravindra Choubey.
According to information, the party is excited by the response it is getting from the people during its vada nibhao fortnight which has been launched with an aim to expose the ruling party through repeated reminders about its promises and unaddressed issues. The fortnight was launched in a planned manner just two days before the government’s gram suraj abhiyan.
