Cong district-level workers’ meet at Jashpur on Apr 11


Raipur, April 07, 2012

Congress will organise district-level workers’ meeting at Kunkuri (Jashpur) on April 11, 2012. The meeting will be attended by AICC general secretary and state unit incharge BK Hariprasada, AICC secretary and state Congress incharge secretary Bhakt Charandas, PCC president Nandkumar Patel and CLP leader Ravindra Choubey along with other senior leaders.
According to information, while Hariprasada will return to national capital at evening on April 11, Charandas will stay at Raipur to attend the party meeting on the following day to chalk out strategy for its vada nibhao fortnight slated to be organised from April 16-30.
The party’s chief spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi informed that the party leadership had assigned responsibility to Raigarh Lok Sabha incharge general secretary Bhupesh Baghel to complete preparation for the workers’ meeting. Baghel left Jashpur on Saturday morning and would hold meetings of the local leaders to ensure accumulation of massive crowd on April 11.
Trivedi informed that the meeting would also be attended by office-bearers of PCC, Jashpur DCC, Rajiv Gandhi panchayati raj cell as well as party legislators, Congress representatives of Sarguja division and Congress-supported Jashpur district panchayat president along with vice president and members.
