Taking disciplinary action against National
Students’ Union of India (NSUI) state general secretary Raja Farishta for submitting
fake documents to contest organisational polls, the NSUI national secretary and
Chhattisgarh incharge Bhushan Penchalwar has removed him.
Notably, Raja was alleged to have produced fake
documents of a fictitious college as his student status to the NSUI. Penchalwar
had forwarded the matter to Foundation for Advanced Management of Elections
(FAME) for probe.
Penchalwar informed that FAME found the charges
against Raja true and recommended for his removal.
Hinting that indiscipline would not be tolerated in
the organisation, he categorically said that except NSUI state president
Devendra Yadav, no other member or ex-president was authorised to claim the
post of Chhattisgarh head. He said that Sanjeev Shukla is a former NSUI
president and he too is supposed to comply with disciplinary norms of the
organisation.
