NSUI demands closure of schools in summer


Raipur, April 13, 2012

The NSUI has demanded from School Education Minister Brijmohan Agrawal to order closure of government and private schools in summer as students face inconvenience due to scorching heat. The NSUI members said the schools should be kept closed from April 15 to May 30 considering heat wave condition in the state. They further demanded strict implementation of Right to Education (RTE) in the state after Supreme Court clarified its stand on it. On the occasion were present NSUI’s former state president Sanjeev Shukla, vice president Subodh Haritwal, Pradeep Sahu, Gulzeb Ahmed, Rahul Tiwari, etc.
