Patel expands Cong coop panel


Raipur, April 30, 2012

PCC President Nandkumar Patel expanded party’s cooperative committee headed by Satyanarayan Sharma during a meeting held at Congress Bhawan on Monday.
“The expansion has been done to ensure better coordination during party’s upcoming cooperative committee polls,” informed chief PCC spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi.
The expanded panel comprises of – convenor Baijnath Chandrakar, members – Gurmukh Singh Hora, Mahendra Karma, Domendra Bhediya, Brihaspati Singh, Dr Ramlal Bhardwaj, Ashok Agrawal, Umashankar Shukla, Vinod Tiwari, Rajesh Sharma, Dr Shakrajeet Nayak, US Singhdeo, Yogeshwar Raj Singh, OP Agrawal, Damrudhar Yadav, Jagdish Mehar, Rajesh Tiwari and permanently invited members – Harish Tiwari.
Patel has give responsibility of Raipur division to Satyanarayan Sharma, Gurmukh Singh Hora, Dr Ramlal Bhardwaj and Rajesh Sharma, Durg division - Domendra Bhediya, Vinod Tiwari and Yogeshwar Raj Singh, Bilaspur division - Baijnath Chandrakar and Ashok Agrawal, Raigarh division - Dr Shakrajeet Nayak, Damrudhar Yadav and Jagdish Mehar, Sarguja division - US Singhdeo, Brihaspati Singh and OP Agrawal and Bastar division - Mahendra Karma, Umashankar Shukla and Rajesh Tiwari.
Trivedi informed that nomination process for cooperative committee polls in Bastar division will start from May 9, 2012. The panel member will once again meet on May 11, he said. The party has also formed a control room for cooperative polls. The Congress monitoring committee has assigned the task to handle the operation of control room during cooperative committee polls.
