Youth Congress (YC) has demanded from
District Education Officer (DEO) Raipur
for issuance of strict orders to all school in the capital city to operate
their classes in the morning hours considering soaring temperature. In this
connection, the YC members led by their Raipur Rural general secretary Vipin
Mishra submitted a memorandum to DEO Raipur on Friday.
“It is unfortunate that despite clear instructions
from Education department regarding conduction of school studies in the morning
hours from 7-11 am this summer, many institutions are operating classes at
normal timings. This is certainly causing inconvenience to the children who are
unable to tolerate the scorching heat,” said Mishra.
He pointed that the schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kanger Valley ,
Holy Hearts were still operating classes from 10 am to 2 pm.
He warned of protesting before the schools if they
would not change the class timings to morning hours.
While submitting memorandum to DEO, Mishra was
accompanied by YC members including Saket Vaidya, Mukesh Verma, Atul Singh,
Raja Farishta, Sunny Solomon, Saurabh Bhoi, Monu Jaiswal, Shubham Navsad, Vikky
Das, Manish Das, Arunesh, Ankit Ahuja, Manav Ram, Shashwat Mishra, Nikhil Belarwar,
Ajay John, Rahul Singh, etc.
