NSUI asks CPEB to conduct SLET regularly

Raipur, April 11, 2012

The NSUI members on Wednesday demanded from Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board (CPEB) to conduct State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) regularly.
In this connection, the former NSUI president Sanjeev Shukla and other members washed vehicles of CPEB officials as a mark of protest. Shukla said the CPEB had conducted SLTE only once in 2006 after constitution of Chhattisgarh state.
“The SLET is supposed to be conducted regularly like National Eligibility Test (NET) but the CPEB has failed to conduct it again after 2006,” Shukla said.
He said the mismanagement in the board also result in cancellation of SLET dates twice in 2011 and in February 2012.
The NSUI members present on the occasion were state vice president Subodh Haritwal, Raipur district president Pradeep Sahu, state general secretary Abhinay Ravte, Gulzeb Ahmed, Vipin Mishra, Ravi Sen, etc.
