The Youth Congress (YC) has demanded closure of schools due to soaring mercury in the state. In this connection, a delegation of YC members led by organisation’s Raipur North general secretary Dilip Singh Chouhan on Monday submitted a memorandum to School Education Secretary KR Pisda. The delegation said that all the schools should be closed till June 15 considering scorching heat in the state. The delegation was comprised of Shiekh Shakeel, Rehan Khan, Mohammad Azhar, Bakar Abbas, Azhar Rahman, Shiekh Imran, Wasim Quasif, Arshad Quraishi, Ashish Nand, Preetam, Jishant, Rakesh Sharma, Gaurav, Ujjwal, etc.
