Congress has urged Shopkeepers to reconsider their three-day bandh plan from April 16. “The bandh will cause inconvenience to poor people who cannot stock essential food items in advance,” said DCC Raipur Urban president Inderchand Dhariwal on Saturday. He said considering the problem of the poor section, the shopkeepers should express their objection over the provisions of Food Security Bill to the Centre through their national association. “Meanwhile, in protest, they can wear black bands till the Centre meets their demand,” he suggested.
