The
Congress on Thursday said that by inducting Mayawati government’s four expelled
ministers including Babu Singh Kushwaha in its party, the BJP had proved once
again that it desperately wanted to come in power. “The BJP has actually become
a refuge for corrupts,” said PCC president Nandkumar Patel and CLP leader
Ravindra Choubey on Thursday.
“This is the same party
whose most senior leader Lal Krishna Advani had taken anti-corruption yatra a
couple of months back. The leaders of this party first give long speeches in
favour of Lokpal bill in parliament and outside, but cast vote against the
bill. This divulges double face of the BJP,” the duo said.
They demanded from the
national leadership of the BJP to tell the reason for posing silence over
exposure of large number of corruption cases in Chhattisgarh.
