Flaying Public Service
Commission (PSC) for not fulfilling its demand to increase maximum age limit from
35 years to 37 years for appearing in the exams conducted by the Commission,
the NSUI members on Wednesday polished shoes of commuters as a mark of protest.
The organisation’s
former state general secretary Amit Sharma said the NSUI would continue
adopting unique methods of protest against the PSC unless its demands are met.
Notably, different
factions of the NSUI have launched aggressive offensive against the PSC and all
are mounting pressure on it to increase the age limit for exams.
On January 10, where
large number of NSUI members from Ajit Jogi faction gheraoed the Commission
office and got arrested, the other faction led by the organisation’s state
president Devendra Yadav too attempted to advance towards PSC office by riding
rickshaw, but were prevented by the police.
The NSUI’s Raipur
district vice president Bhavesh Shukla warned the Commission of staging dharna
and launching protest movements against it at state level if their demands
would not be fulfilled.
The NSUI’s symbolic
protest through shoe polish was attended by - Amit Sharma, Bhavesh Shukla, Akash
Sharma, Manish Sharma, Abhay Thakur, Dinesh Mishra, Ashish Dwivedi, etc.
