The
NSUI has demanded from Public Service Commission (PSC) to increase maximum age
limit of the candidates to appear in the examinations. In this connection,
NSUI’s state vice president Subodh Haritwal and other members of the
organisation submitted a memorandum to the PSC Secretary SN Rathore on
Thursday.
“Eventually, it is the
candidates who suffer when the commission cancels any exam. With back-to-back
cancellation of exams, several candidates become ineligible for future exams as
they cross the maximum age limit criteria,” Haritwal said.
He also demanded from
the commission to give priority to the candidates of Chhattisgarh in
examinations. “It is their right. They do not get priority in any other part of
the country. At least, they should get it in their own homeland,” he added.
While submitting
memorandum, Haritwal was accompanied by NSUI Raipur district president Pradeep
Sahu, Gulzeb Ahmed, Ravi Sen, Ajay Pal, Shahbaz Hussein, Nadeem Salat, Tarun
Soni, Aniket Kumar, etc.
