Cong holds police responsible for rising crime

The Congress has held the police responsible for rising crime in the city. The Gudhiyari Block Congress Committee (BCC) president Ghanshyam Raju Tiwari on Saturday informed that there had been marked increase in criminal cases in Fafadih while the police completely failed to trap the culprits. In this connection, a delegation of Gudhiyari BCC led by Tiwari submitted a memorandum to SSP Dipanshu Kabra and urged him to take firm step to check crime in Fafadih. “Criminal cases including theft and dacoity in Fafadih have become an order of the day. A sense of insecurity prevails in the region but the police seem least interested to solve nab the criminals,” Tiwari said. The BCC members who were part of the delegation were Sanjay Soni, Sagar Tandi, Mohammad Zakir, Monti Sahu, Mahendra Yadav, etc.
