Chief
Minister Raman Singh will convene a meeting of BJP’s public representatives of
Raipur division at 11 am on Saturday. The meeting will be attended by
parliamentarians, ministers and legislators of Raipur division. In the meeting,
the CM will discuss with the public representatives about the problems of their
areas.
According to
information, the meeting will be attended by parliamentarians Ramesh Bais,
Saroj Pandey, Chandulal Sahu, PWD Minister Brijmohan Agrawal, Urban
Administration Minister Rajesh Munat, Water Resources Minister Hemchand Yadav,
legislators Devji Patel, Nand Kumar Sahu, Vijay Baghel, Siyaram Sahu, Komal
Janghel Ramji Bharti, Neelima Tekam, Damrudhar Pujari and Laxmi Baghel.
The CM has recently
convened meetings of party’s public representatives in Bilaspur and Bastar
divisions separately. The large-scale transfers of police officials is said to
be the result of complaints of the public representatives of Bilaspur and
Bastar divisions to the CM. Since these representatives have also complained
about several officials, administrative reshuffle is too is likely in the
offing.
The CM’s interactions
with the MPs, MLAs and ministers of the party at divisional level is said to be
the party’s poll preparation exercise. Through meetings, the CM is also taking inputs
from public representatives to improve government’s performance in next two
years so that the BJP may succeed in making hat-trick in the state in next
Assembly polls.
