Congress paid rich tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on the occasion of his death anniversary on Monday. The party organised tribute programme in all the district and block headquarters to
remember Gandhi.
The PCC president Nandkumar Patel paid tribute to Gandhi at party office in Raigarh district. He was accompanied by local party workers along with president of DCC Raipur Urban Jagdish Mehar.
While the DCC Raipur Urban organised garlanding and bhajan programme at 10:30 am at Townhall. At 11 am, the party organised all-religion prayer at Congress Bhawan.
The partymen who attended both the programmes were former PCC president Dhanendra Sahu, Satyanarayan Sharma, PCC vice president and MLA Kawasi Lakhma, MLA Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor Kiranmayi Nayak, PCC
general secretary Subhash Sharma, party’s chief spokesperson Shailesh Nitin Trivedi, DCC Raipur Urban president Inderchand Dhariwal, Kalpana Patel, Anjay Shukla, etc.
