YC members organise symposium on deaddiction, donate blood


Raipur, January 30, 2012 


The Youth Congress (YC) remembered Manatama Gandhi by organising various events. One faction of the YC organised symposium on deaddiction and communalism at Congress Bhawan. The YC members felt that deaddicion was a mandatory social movement. The organisation included deaddiction as one of its prime agendas. The YC members also termed communalism as the biggest enemy of democracy.
After symposium, the YC members took pledge to dedicate their life in fighting against addiction and decided to launch awareness campaign among youth abut Gandhi’s life so that they could take inspiration from the great leader.
The symposium was participated by YC’s Raipur Lok Sabha president Vinod Tiwari, Indrajeet Singh, Sushil Agrawal, Ashish Dubey, Samir Chouhan, Pradeep Sahu, Saket Vaidya, Pratap Singh, Sheikh Fareed, Sattu Jaiswal, Sandeep Yadu, Mukesh Verma, anmd Sayed Umer.
Another faction of the YC led by Raipur North Vidhan Sabha general secretary Dilip Singh Chouhan donated blood at Ambedkar hospital. The third faction of the organisation led by Akash Tiwari and MLA Kuldeep
Juneja distributed fruits in leprosy basti in Pandri.
